Q... The Gorman Rule?
A... Following a little confusion in The World Champs 2010, we have now clarified the position! "Once a scorer has called the score and the next team to play has thrown, that score will be the score which continues". As with all clarifications, this has probably left players completely confused!- I know what I mean!
Q...Where should a player stand to throw the Smiter?
A...Using the box as a marker,your foot should be behind the front edge of the box, and within one metre of either side
Q...If you hit a pin and it falls but lands back on its base, does it count ,or not?
A...As long as the pin has been knocked over..it counts..
Q...If a pin is hit but cannot fall completely because of other standing pins, does this score?
A...Yes ,if the pin would have otherwise fallen
Q...Playing indoors, if the Smiter hits a low back board and rebounds onto a pin..does this count?
A...Yes, but not if the smiter rebounds off the wall...i.e. higher than the back board.
Q...Are players allowed to be intoxicated while playing Smite?
A...Oh Yes!! This is more or less compulsory especially in Summer!!!
